Come along & enjoy 8 unique short films from talented First Nations filmmakerssharing their stories and honouring this year's NAIDOC theme'The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy'.

The Flickerfest Indigenous Spotlight programme, including local shorts will take you on a special journey with some incredibly strong & powerful voices.​​​​​​​Support the celebration of First Nations culture during NAIDOC Week.

The programme showcases eight remarkable short films, including the charming The Fix-It-Man And Fix-It-Wooman, the Flickerfest 2025 award-winning animated short created by the talented artists from the Yarrenyty Arltere Town Camp, set against the vibrant backdrop of Alice Springs.

Celebrating Northern Territory talent, Hydraulic, directed by Nicole Hutton Lewis, who grew up in the NT, follows a father and son on a wild goose chase filled with heart and humour. Another highlight is Farm Block A67, a striking film by Indigenous directors Simone Detourbet (writer and director from Darwin) and Jason Haji-Ali.

Also featured is Jarda Bura, Gurri Bura, Jarda Ngarli, Gurri Ngarli (Senior Woman, Young Woman), a powerful digital artwork created on Ngarluma and Yindjibarndi country in the Pilbara by Big hART in collaboration with women from Roebourne. This fusion of film, photography, and audio explores intergenerational relationships between women, celebrating their kinship, connection to Country, and the strength and leadership passed across generations. Rounding out the selection is the compelling documentary Echoes of Dissent, starring David Nicholls, a Ngemba man from Brewarrina.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
