There is ample street parking available right on our doorstep, which includes disabled spaces on Jonson Street. Street parking is free and unlimited after 6pm. Please ensure you check signage before parking.

It depends on each show - refunds are issued based on the policy of the producer who is staging the performance, and only if requested with at least 48 hours notice before the start of the show or event. If you cannot attend and would like to apply for a refund please contact the Box Office.

If the event has allocated seating you will be able to select your seat when purchasing the ticket.
If the event has unallocated seating, seat choice is on a first come, first served basis on the night of the event. You should arrive early to allow time to get your preferred seat.

Yes, we can store your pram/stroller in our office. They cannot be brought into the theatre.
Our events all have a Welcome or Acknowledgment of Country before each event begins. Patrons will be asked to wait outside the theatre doors until it is appropriate to enter the theatre. Our front of house staff will then guide you to your seat.
Unfortunately we do not offer cloak room facilities. However there is ample room to store a small bag under your seat.
The venue doors and bar open one hour prior to each event. theatre doors generally open 20 minutes before the advertised event start time.

Generally children are allowed to most of our shows, unless otherwise specified. Ticket prices and recommended ages vary between events.
Byron Theatre has a ‘babes in arms’ policy: if your child is 12 months and under they can sit on your lap free of charge. Some events may require patrons to be above a certain age to enter and this would be specified on the event page. We recommend that you check the suitability of the event for young children before booking a ticket. Check the event listing or contact the box office for more info.

All theatre patrons must treat one another with respect. Any behaviour that threatens the safety or enjoyment of theatre patrons, staff or performers will not be tolerated. Patrons not adhering to these guidelines may be asked to leave the venue. Failure to leave the venue when asked will result in the police being called.
Tickets can be exchanged up to 48 hours before an event. Tickets can be exchanged for a different performance date/time of the same production. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer exchanges into a different event.
Please arrive on time to avoid disappointment. Latecomers will only be admitted at the discretion of the Event Manager on duty when there is a convenient break in the program.
