Tell us about your role at the Byron Community Centre? My role is to secure grant funding for the organisation and its many incredible projects. I work closely with the teams at the Byron Community Centre, Byron Theatre and Fletcher Street Cottage to design and plan projects and programs, research grant funding opportunities, and develop and submit grant applications to the funders that provide essential support for our not-for-profit organisation. This includes local, state and federal government funding bodies, philanthropic foundations and corporate foundations.‍

What’s the most inspiring part of your job? I love seeing our heartfelt and ambitious ideas come to life. This is such an inspired and motivated crew of people. ‍

I love my community because… We are an eclectic and eccentric bunch. What's not to love?!
