As the end of the year draws near, many people find themselves running on empty, simply trying to make it to the finish line. That's why Wesley LifeForce is holding a free Building Resilience Workshop at the Byron Community Centre on Tuesady 14 October, giving locals the chance to recharge before the busy summer season.
Trainer and Assessor Glen Wallwork said the workshop is designed to explore simple, practicle ways to look after ourselves.
"We'll chat about how different cultures approach daily life and wellbeing, and how things like food, stress and routines have changed over time. It's the chance to reflect, share ideas and pick up some tools to help fine-tune your lifestyle in a way that feels good and works for you".
Byron's unique community spirit and relaxed atmosphere also add to the experience. Glen continues "Being in a place like this helps people slow down, connect with others and really soak in the experience, it's the perfect backdrop for a workshop focused on wellbeing and personal reset".
For those unsure whether to attend, glen offered a gentle reminder. "If your best mate was feeling a bit burnt out and had teh chance to go to a free workship that could help them feel better, you woudl tell them to go, right? So why not give yourself that same encouragement? Treat yourself like you would treat your best friend. You deserve the reset".
The workshop runs from 9am to 12pm at the Byron Community Centre. Attendance is free, pub places are limited so registration is essential.
The morning will conclude wiht a complimentary brunch provided by The Corner Store cafe, creating a relaxed opportunite for connection after the session.
