Celebrating 3 Years of Support, Collaboration and Client Success
This week at Fletcher Street Cottage, we celebrated a significant milestone and continued our efforts to support our community. Here’s a look at what we’ve been up to.
Highlights:
- This week, we celebrated our 3-year anniversary at Fletcher Street Cottage! It's been an incredible journey, and we are so proud of everything we've accomplished together. Check out the NBN News coverage of our anniversary here. (Photo: 2021 Community Fundraising Campaign)
- We met with Isabel from the National Centre of Naturopathic Medicine to discuss student clinic opportunities at Fletcher Street Cottage. This partnership will allow our clients to access vital health and lifestyle advice at no cost to them, further enhancing the support we provide.
- A client who no longer requires our services came in to thank the team, stating, "You all literally saved my life." We are so pleased to see them doing so well and back on their feet. During their time of need, Fletcher Street Cottage was able to provide emergency relief, including food and fuel vouchers, as well as mental health support.
- On Thursday, Jennifer facilitated our Art Space where clients enjoyed a calm and creative environment with clay, paint and pencils. These sessions continue to provide a wonderful outlet for self-expression and relaxation.
- On Thursday, we also discussed collaboration pathways with Find My Wild, focusing on support for women experiencing domestic and family violence. This ongoing partnership aims to create more comprehensive support systems for vulnerable women. You can learn more about Find My Wild here.
- We are wishing everyone a happy and safe Easter break! Fletcher Street Cottage will be closed for the holidays and will be back on board on Tuesday 22nd April.
