Tell us about your role at the Byron Community Centre

I'm the Relationships Manager. I'm responsible for the fundraising strategy for Fletcher Street Cottage and our social enterprises including Byron Theatre, Byron Markets and more. I manage relationships with our wonderful donors, partners and sponsors.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?

I'm part of the wider collective raising the vital funds we need to continue bringing hope, heart and positive change for those who need it. Whether that's a community member being able to have a shower and a hot breakfast at Fletcher Street Cottage, a family making magical memories at the Byron Theatre or a local person launching their first business at the Byron Markets, it's all about connection for impact.  

I love my community because…of the diverse, colourful community of people who all have a unique story to tell. Always expect the unexpected when it comes to the lives of the people who call Byron Bay home.
