Tell us about your role at the Byron Community Centre I coordinate the Byron Community Market and I'm also the Byron Markets Assistant Manager. I work part time with a fantastic team that assists around 300 stallholders to attend the Community Market each month.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job? The Byron Market has been a quintessential part of our town since 1987. The markets showcase local wares and original handmade products or exquisite imports from around the globe. As well as epic local talent on our band stages and delicious food and drinks - what's not to love?

I love my community because…there's nowhere else quite like Byron Bay. Everyone says it when they come - it just feels like home. This sacred land and its original peoples, and all the local and transient folks that grace this land make my heart sing. Working within this community is exactly where I want to be.
