Jon Howell

Tell us about your role at the Byron Community Centre? I'm responsible for everything from the 5-year artistic vision of the Theatre, to making sure the toilets work. I do get a lot of help from the theatre team though, which is great because I'm not very handy at plumbing. 

What’s the most inspiring part of your job? When you see an inspiring live performance it has a positive effect on you. You see the world in a slightly different way - even if for only an hour or two - and that can make you feel that life is more bearable, connected, and meaningful. This is what has always excited me about being in 'show business' and that's why I work at the Byron Theatre, to provide those experiences to as many people as possible.
