Our professional team provides accessible and confidential counselling services to support individuals experiencing homelessness, financial hardship or personal struggles.
Counselling plays a pivotal role in helping individuals navigate personal challenges and improve their mental health. By offering a supportive and confidential space, counselling helps people build resilience, gain clarityand develop coping strategies. This support not only benefits those directly receiving it but also contributes to a healthier, more connected community overall.
Our team of dedicated professionals includes Margie, Claire, Darcee and Paul. Each counsellor is highly trained and brings a wealth of experience and empathy to their role. They are committed to providing a safe, confidential environment where individuals can receive personalised support tailored to their unique needs. Due to the small team, this program does not offer crisis counselling. The team will contact you within a few days.
We offer free counselling sessions for those in financial need and a sliding scale charge of $30 to $70 per hour for those who can contribute. Sessions are available via phone, Zoom or in person, depending on circumstances. We also prove free counselling sessions for our staff and volunteers through our Employee Assistance Program.
