Discover Byron Hinterland Paintings, a new solo exhibition by celebrated local artist Jan Rae, at Byron Spaces Gallery until 15 December 2025.
This luminous collection showcases the Byron hinterland in idealised landscapes, free of buildings and man-made features, highlighting sky, land and the distant ocean horizon.
"This exhibition is all about the Byron hinterland, the beautiful environment that we live in. These works are about sky, land and the beauty of our environment. I hope people who live here will be able to relate to them."
On display each weekday upstairs at the Byron Community Centre, the exhibition is free to view and offers visitors an intimate chance to slow down, reflect and reconnect with the natural beauty of the region.
