Through a series of interviews, archival and contemporary film footage, poignant voiceover narration, and colorful animation, Rebecca Coley’s documentary Point of Change traces the chronology of surf exploration and subsequent tourism development in Lagundri Bay, home to “the world’s best wave” on the island of Nias, North Sumatra, Indonesia.
★★★★★ "I can't recommend this movie highly enough. It's moving, profound, comprehensive and thought provoking. Who should see it..? Anyone who has been to Indonesia, from any era. Take a non-surfing partner."
